BEING AARON & HUR
AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE
Teaches the benefits of accountability partnerships. Most often the one who stands in the way of someone reaching their maximum success is the person looking in the mirror. That is why we teach the priniciples of organizing accountability partnerships..
WORKING TOGETHER TO WIN THE BATTLE
One of the most encouraging stories of faith, brotherhood, and victory is found in the Bible's book of Exodus chapter seventeen. It is in this account where the Israelites fought their first battle after being freed from Egyptian bondage. While on their way to the Canaan Land, the inexperienced Israelite army collided with a formidable enemy lying in wait. In what is known as “The Battle of Refidim,” Israel’s epic win over the Army of Amalek teaches us that power accompanies men who unite with faith in God and support for one another. Through the power of community, the lesson here is that having a strong support system in the everyday battles of life can mean the difference between failure or success. Named after the two of the men that held up the exhausted arms of Moses, The Aaron & Hur Initiative provides a platform designed to hold up the proverbial arms of men as we fight our battles in life.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Model manhood and encourage accountability, while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, affirmation, and mentorship.
VISION STATEMENT:
In the same spirit that inspired courageous men to unite in the midst of battle, The Aaron & Hur Initiative is a community of positive change agents, lifting men of all ages as they encounter the struggles of life that challenge spiritual, and mental maturation. Within the scope of our vision, the men and boys connected to this initiative have a support system, designed to help them achieve their personal best.
STRATEGY:
As strategic leaders, we actively engage in mentoring, ministering, coaching, and strategizing skillsets that strengthen men, reinforce families, and positively change the trajectories of communities at–large. Through these endeavors, leaders are trained, built and supported to implement the skills of efficiency as the work of changing lives is successfully taken to the world.
